I can not for the life of me figure out how to bypass the hardware
encoder on my card so I can dump in a lossless form.
I'll i do is the following and I capture video from my tv:
sudo cat /dev/video0 > /home/vidcap/myvideo.mpg
but i have noticed that some people get much better results than me.
I was thinking if i could dump the video in a different format, clean it
up and encode in MPEG2 or Divx or h.264 the quality would be much better.
if tis isnt the card to do it with, what should I use?
thank you for your help
