[ivtv-users] ivtv-trunk, ivtv-1.3.0 do not build on (my) Ubunutu intrepid

Hi all,

I've been having trouble getting my picture quality right, see my other 
thread about this.
In an attempt to fix this, I set out to recompile ivtv-1.3.0 and v4l-dvb.
ivtv-1.3.0 (the userspace utils of ivtv) do not get built of a 
confilcting ivtv.h an ivtvfb.h that resides in /usr/include/linux.
By relinking /usr/include/linux to /usr/src/linux/include/linux it does 
get built, however, I've been told never to pull this particular stunt.
So what is the problem here, is it ivtv's or ubuntu's ?
