[ivtv-users] cx18 analog capture after reboot

Hi,
  Every now and then after a reboot, the captured video is simply a green or
pink screen. I have found if I unload the cx18 module and reload it, this
will resolve the pink or green screen and capture returns to normal.
Typically, if I shut down the computer safely and reboot video capture is
fine at reboot. I wonder if this related to the module not safely unloading.


I am in the habit of testing video capture after a reboot in case I need to
reload the modules. However, There was a power outage in my area Friday and
I have a weekends worth of green video shows. :(  My UPS died recently....

I have also noticed this happens if I switch the HVR1600 to another PCI
slot.

or

Pull the HVR-1600 and place another device on the same slot boot the
computer then  place the HVR-1600 back into the same slot and boot.
