If you don't mind to use VLC instead of MPlayer, you can watch your
stream and record/dump it to disk whenever you want with a hotkey
combination (Shift+R for recording, Shift+D for dumping). I don't know
if the second time you record during a session the file will be
overwritten or a new file will be created instead, as on the computer
I'm currently working with there is no video grabber.
